About FauxCut

FauxCut joins any number of clips from Photos, puts a transition between each, and exports one video back to Photos at the source's own quality. Editing and export run on the iPhone, with no accounts and no uploads.

Fact sheet

FauxCut (one word, capital F and C) is a video joiner for iPhone. It requires iOS 27 or later. It is in development and not on the App Store yet; a TestFlight beta comes first. Website: fauxcut.app. Press and support contact: support@fauxcut.app. Tagline: "Join your clips. Add transitions. Done."

Brand colours

The strip in the logo runs from Reel Blue through Violet and Orchid to Coral and Peach, on a deep Midnight ground. Select a swatch to copy its hex value.

Type

The app uses SF Pro, Apple's system font, at the user's Dynamic Type size, with monospaced digits for timecodes. The name in the logo files is set in Inter Display Bold, as a placeholder until a final wordmark is drawn.

Downloads

The original logo is a raster image, enlarged for the larger sizes. Print-size files are available on request from support@fauxcut.app.
